The MacBook Air The MacBook Air is an intuitive, sleek device that is recognized as the second cheapest Macs currently in production. Its thin, light body and silver exterior with a black, back lit keyboard makes it a wondrous sight to the eye. Working as good at it looks, current "Airs" have i5 or i7 processors with powerful high resolution screens in 11" and 13" sizes. This device, though compelling, has a few disadvantages. What you want out of a computer defines the need to purchase one. (See "Choosing a Computer") This one in particular will satisfy the serious traveler in his appeal of its slim size. Plus, with outstanding "Face Time" camera capabilities built right in to the hardware, one can communicate with family and friends miles away from home. This device may also be suitable for the powerhouse, but it's capacity of 512 GB of disk space max may arouse limitations for a heavy file storer. The RAM, however, starts at four gigabytes, which is standard, and reaches a good eight. A basic user who wants a lot out of a computer will find this an enticing, user friendly device. Be warned, however, that though computer may seem thrilling, it SHOULD NOT be bought in two scenarios:
